Personal Reference ROBERT BALL I have known Robert (Bobby) Ball for many years as a friend and a colleague on community oriented committees. Bobby is a former senior policeman having served mainly in country areas of New South Wales. In his role of a country policeman he was required to accept and adopt many roles within the local community in addition to maintaining law and order. He did this very well and was highly thought of during his career often being tasked with higher duty offices. He also received a prestigious police award following his retirement. Following his retirement from the police force, Bobby engaged in a number of community services. He has been a member of the Queensland Crimestoppers organisation for a number of years, has served as the chairman of the Bundaberg Volunteer Branch and is currently Vice Chairman. Bobby is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) in the state of Queensland and volunteers in the 'JPs in the Community Program' where he regularly attends signing centres to assist members of the public with their legal needs. A follower of Christian principles Bobby is active within his church providing assistance to the sick in addition to other charity based activities.
